Babylonia Areolata Shell

Photobucket

This shell looks very fancy with it's white back ground and brown spots. If you are looking to have a more decorative set-up for your hermit crabs these can be a great shell to offer.

Ratings:
Coenobita Brevimanus 1.5/5 This shell can be worn by your Indonesian hermit crabs but it is not very likely.
Coenobita clypeatus 3/5 This shell is not overly worn by Caribbean hermit crabs. Too bad they don't though because they look the best in this type of shell in my opinion.
Coenobita compressus 2.5/5 This shell has somewhat of a "D" shaped opening it but is not an Ecuadorian favourite.
Coenobita perlatus 1.5/5 Can be chosen by your strawberry hermit crab, however it is not all that likely.
Coenobita purpureus 4.5/5 This shell makes an excellent choice for blueberry hermit crabs. I realized I didn't have enough of these shells after getting my blueberry hermit crabs.
Coenobita rugosus 3/5 A fairly good choice for your Coenobita rugosus.
Coenobita variabilis 2/5 The Aussie crab can wear this shell type if it chooses to.
Coenobita violascens 1.5/5 A viola may wear his type of shell but it is not all that likely.
